About Pakistan Memon Educational & Welfare Society (PMEWS)
The Memon Educational & Welfare Society was established in 1933 by Sir Adamjee Haji Dawood (Great Leader & Trusted Companion of Quaid-e-Azam). After the partition of the sub-continent the Society also started functioning in Pakistan in 1953 as The Pakistan Memon Educational & Welfare Society (PMEWS).
The hallmark of PMEWS has been its farsightedness to pick every opportunity up to contribute for the betterment of Society by making most of the options available to it.
The PMEWS has set the same goals and objectives and is presently known as a leading Memon NGO, making significant contributions towards Education, Welfare & Rehabilitation. The PMEWS has provided Millions of Rupees as financial assistance to deserving and white collar students for their education and as a result a large number of its scholars qualified and today are working as reputed Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, and Businesspersons and in the other fields of life.
